• Endorectal Ultrasonography: A Hands-On Experience
This one-day workshop highlights the current clinical uses of endorectal ultrasonography. It will consist of lectures, videos, live patient cases and hands-on instruction on teaching models.

• Laparoscopic Assisted Colon Resection Workshop
This one-day workshop is designed for surgeons familiar with laparoscopic techniques who wish to expand their skills in laparoscopic intestinal surgery. It will consist of lectures and surgical practice in a cadaver lab.

 

• Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEM) Workshop
This one-day workshop will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the techniques associated with the Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery procedure. It will consist of didactic lectures and hands on training covering history and development, indications for TEM, patient assessment, and surgical techniques for minimally invasive excision of rectal tumors.

•Young Surgeon's Guide to Research
This half-day workshop for surgical residents and junior faculty is presented by University of Minnesota professors. This workshop will focus on data gathering techniques, writing papers for publication, and effective presentation skills.
